Reflection about creating safe and supportive learning environment

To create a safe and supportive learning environment, I usually arrange my students' seats in a U shape to see each other's faces. I also start with one activity before I move to my lesson to help the students stay active and concentrate more. Furthermore, in class, if they want to ask questions, and when we play games, if they get the answer first, to protect my students from having an unequal chance to answer or ask questions, I let them to raise their hand first, then continue asking the question. In addition, I also provide the reading paragraph about discrimination, rights, and equality, and use these topics to practice reading. By doing this, I hope my students will understand each other and can divide the good and bad things to communicate with people.
