Do you have activities or routines that you use regularly to create space for listening to learners? Please share your approach
Creating a safe space for listening to learners is an essential part of education. As a future teacher, I plan to use activities and routines that help students feel comfortable expressing their ideas. For example, I will use fun games and quizzes to create an enjoyable learning environment. Besides, I also plan to begin class with reflective questions such " What are you grateful for today?" to encourage students to share their thoughts. Additionally, I would like to include a short walking discussion activity where students talk in pairs about guided questions before class begins. This will help them understand each other better and share their ideas more confidently. Through these strategies, I aim to build trust and create a supportive classroom where every student feels heard.
