The main thing I do in my class is make sure every student’s voice is heard and included. Since most of the students come from diverse backgrounds, I let them introduce themselves, share their likes and dislikes, and encourage others to respect those differences. Therefore, everyone knows how to interact thoughtfully and avoid misunderstandings. The most important lesson I teach them is mutual respect because as you sow, you shall reap.

Another practice I love to use is a system of rewards and punishments . This helps students feel recognized for their hard work, while also encouraging them to reflect on and improve their actions when necessary. These are the system that I use when I volunteer as a teacher.
