Supporting My Lera

I think this lesson plan is very meaningful because it helps students express their hopes and dreams, which is important, especially in difficult contexts. It also connects well with the Conversational Framework by including discussion, collaboration, and production. I believe I can use these ideas in my context, but I would need to adapt them based on students’ language level and confidence. For example, I might give more guidance or examples before discussion, or allow students to draw instead of writing. At the microsystem level, this activity can help me build stronger relationships with students and understand their goals better. As a follow-up, I could display their messages in the classroom or share them with school leaders. Overall, this is a useful way to support students’ voices and encourage them to think about their future.
