Education in my context can be described as protective but limited because school provides safety and hope for students, but still lacks enough resources and support for all learners. In my classroom, I faced difficult situations such as students having language barriers, low confidence, and emotional stress from their backgrounds, which affected their participation and learning. To support them, I explained lessons in simpler ways, encouraged them to speak and join activities, and tried to create a safe and friendly environment where they felt comfortable. Through this, I was mainly working within the Microsystem as I directly interacted with students, and also slightly in the Mesosystem by working with other teachers, parents, and principle to understand students better. However, I could have done more in other systems, such as communicating with parents in the mesosystem to better understand students’ home situations, connecting with NGOs in the exosystem to get more resources and support, and promoting inclusive education in the macrosystem to address broader challenges. Overall, while I tried to improve the classroom environment, stronger support across different systems would be important to better meet the needs of the students. However, this task is not an easy one, and we need the power of the people, orgainization, and knowledge to create a better outcomes in the future by connecting these ecological system and apply it to better understand the effective teaching and learning theory.
