Space for listening to learners

For the question "Do you have activities or routines that you use regularly to create space for listening to learners? Please share your approach.", I would like to answer that there are several activities or routines that I used regularly to create space for listening to learners. The common methods that I used would be I gave a piece of paper to the learner and let them write whatever they feel about the teacher, the teaching system, and the lesson. The most important thing here is that the name can be anonymous becuase not every student feel free to express their feelings. If you want to here the truth, you have to let them know that they can trust you. You can start from collecting these data and survey in the classroom anonymously and improve the lealrning environment. After that, if you want to know more about the specific student who writes it, you can approach them slowlly and gradually. This is a good method to use when you are dealing with the unknowing challenges. Also, setting the private conversation system if individual student is necessary. In this case, not every student will feel comfortable with thi. However, if a student really need motivation, support, and encouragement, we can appraoch them first and let them know that they can trust us. (We can learn these students by checking their improvement in any aspects.)
