This week learning make me think more how education, conflict and peace are connect in the VPLP framework, and I can see in my own teaching context how children bring those experiences into the classroom. The Ecological Systems Theory also help me understand better, because it show that students are not only shaped by school but also by family, community and society around them. These ideas make me realize that when I listen to learners I need to think about their background and what they carry with them, not just their grades. At the microsystem level I can support them directly, but I also see how other systems matter too. Overall, these theories give me more clear picture of how to help children and support their dreams.
