One activity I often use in my class is a simple “Think–Pair–Share.” I start by asking students a question related to the lesson and give them a short time to think quietly on their own. After that, they turn to a partner and talk about their ideas. Finally, a few students share their thoughts with the whole class.
I like this activity because it helps me put some important teaching principles into practice. For example, it encourages active learning because every student has to think and participate. It also supports inclusion, since students who feel shy can first speak with a partner before sharing in front of everyone. At the same time, it builds respect and cooperation, as students listen to each other and learn to express their ideas clearly.
From my experience, this activity helps students feel more comfortable and confident. It also creates a friendly and supportive classroom environment where students are more willing to join in and learn together.
