1. How do you currently organise your classroom environment?
I prioritise students’ emotional and physical well-being, not just their academic learning. I try to create a comfortable and safe environment by playing games, talking with them, and sometimes discussing our life experiences. This helps build trust between me and the students, and they feel more relaxed and confident in the classroom.
2. How do you establish boundaries that create a positive and safe environment for learning?
First, I teach students about moral values and good character, such as respect, responsibility, and kindness. Then, we create classroom rules and regulations together. When students are involved in making the rules, they understand the importance of the rules and are more likely to follow them.
3. Have you noticed any positive or negative effects of your classroom organisation on student behaviour and learning?
Yes, I have noticed changes in students’ behaviour and character. When I notice a problem, I observe the student for some time because I do not want to be biased or misunderstand the situation. After that, I talk to the student privately and listen to their side of the story. This helps me understand the problem better and support the student in a fair and respectful way.
4. Have you read any suggestions from others on the course that could help you improve your own teaching practice?
Yes, I have learned from others’ experiences in the course. Their personal experiences help me become more creative, thoughtful, and mature in my teaching practice. I learn new teaching methods, classroom management strategies, and ways to support students better.
