During the Week 1 and Week 2 lessons, I learned many things, but the part that interested me the most was the theories. The first theory that is crucial for teachers is the conversational framework. After learning about this theory, I realized that I had only used two or three types of learning. I think when I become a teacher, I will try to use all the methods to create a positive learning environment.

The ecological theory also reminded me to research my students carefully and to handle situations based on the pressures or challenges that affect them outside the classroom. Learning about the VPLP reminded me to avoid being a perpetrator when teaching and to ensure that all students can think critically. My goal is to help them become future leaders who can give back to their communities and be creative with the limited resources  in the conflict and crisis area.
