So far in this course, I’ve practised several important skills that connect closely to my overall learning goals. I’ve improved my ability to reflect critically on teaching practices, especially in challenging contexts like conflict and displacement. I’ve also developed a better understanding of how to apply theoretical frameworks, such as the VPLP Framework and Ecological Systems Theory, to real classroom situations.
In addition, I’ve strengthened my communication and collaboration skills through discussions and sharing ideas with others. This has helped me learn from different perspectives and think more flexibly. I’ve also become more aware of how to create inclusive and supportive learning environments by considering students’ diverse needs and backgrounds.
Overall, these skills support my goal of becoming a more adaptable, thoughtful, and effective educator who can respond to complex learning situations
