This is the very first time I am learning about teaching theories, such as the VPLP framework, the Ecological System Theory, and now Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). As I have learnt, I found this is vital for teaching effectively, especially in the conflict-affected settings. I have never put these ideas into practice in my learning and teaching. Hopefully, as I mentioned before, we are getting to put these ideas into practice in the KSNG Summer Course, as this plays a significant role in managing and addressing the students' situations.
