supporting your learners

  • What strategies, if any, have you tried using to help your learners develop the five core competencies of Social Emotional Learning? What successes and challenges have you had with these strategies?

Even though I have not tried using any of these strategies to teacher student, I have observed in the classroom that teacher teaches students how to set up smart goal, how to keep yourself on that way and how to manage your time. It also inspires how to teach as a teacher.

  • Do you think you could use any of the lesson plans or SEL games from the International Rescue Committee resources in your teaching? If so, which ones, and why do you think they would work in your context?

Yes, I do think these will work in my teaching because one day, students from my community will face emotional problems and they will work with the team, group or organizations. So, there is nothing for knowing this. All will benefit for them to live independently.
