During Weeks 1 and 2, I learned many useful concepts, especially the theories. The conversational framework helped me realize that I had been using only a few teaching methods, and it encouraged me to apply a wider range of approaches to create a more positive learning environment.
The ecological theory reminded me to understand my students more deeply, including the challenges they face outside the classroom. The VPLP also made me aware of the importance of not becoming a perpetrator through teaching, but instead supporting students’ critical thinking. My goal is to help students grow into creative and responsible individuals who can contribute to their communities, even in conflict and crisis situations.
