In this lesson, I learned how Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) competencies can guide my teaching practice by helping students connect their goals, emotions, and actions. I plan to apply self-awareness by encouraging learners to reflect on their dreams and goals, giving positive compliments, and sharing knowledge about diverse ethnic cultures to build confidence. To strengthen relationship skills and social awareness, I will establish daily routines such as homework and peer activities that promote consistency and collaboration. As a practical project, I would like to organize a tree-planting campaign to raise awareness about pollution, care for the environment, and engage students in cleaning the school grounds. These activities, rooted in SEL methods, will support learners’ emotional well-being, personal growth, and community responsibility.
