I think offering counselling is part of a teacher's role because there is low learning level and less confidence to participate in class activity. It is also important to understand student's wellbeing affects students' learning.

It is convenient to have a counselling teacher to help students' learning instead of offering other teacher to counsel them through phone or social media. They will be less confidence to contact them through phone than in person. However, some people will be convenient for them to have a contact while most people hesitate to contact counsellor.

To have a counselling section at school, it will be some risks for students because it must be to trust others or difficult to express their emotion. Therefore, I have mentioned one of the example to help support social and emotional learning in 3.3 discussion.
