  • Do you think that offering counselling is part of a teacher’s role, or is it a specialist role?

I think it depend on the situation of the students. If the student situation is enough and better with the having counseling with teacher, then it is okay. But even after the students met with teachers, if he or she still can not figure out with how was her or his feeling, the students should go to the specialist counselling.

  • Are there any risks involved in offering this support to learners?

In my point of view, Yes. Because every one cannot be a counselor. As a teacher cannot be a counselor as a counselor cannot be a teacher. Due to their specialist.

  • Is this something that your school already provides or what further support or training would your school/learning centre need in order to be able to provide counselling support to learner?

I believe that in a school, everyone well-being and health are the most important thing to have. We can make a network with in person specialist counselor to give the students who might need where it can give effective result to be develop or active learner.
