Do you think that offering counselling is part of a teacher’s role, or is it a specialist role?

I think both teachers and specialist is in charge to offer clients counselling.

No, I don't see any risks involved in offering counselling support to learners.

Is this something that your school already provides or what further support or training would your school/learning centre need in order to be able to provide counselling support to learners?

As I have known, there was no counseller in my public school in Myanmar. Therefore, most students felt that depression, unactive in school, and stay in quiet or alone.
