This week helped me understand the importance of social and emotional learning in the classroom. I learned that students’ experiences outside school can affect how they learn, so teachers need to be more understanding and supportive. I also realized how important it is to listen to students and give them a safe space to express their thoughts and feelings.

Overall, this course has helped me improve my teaching ideas and become more aware of students’ needs. I still wonder how teachers can balance emotional support and academic teaching in difficult situations.
