Key principles

  • In your experience, can these principles apply equally to all learning contexts? For example, can they still be applied in settings of conflict and displacement?

Yes, these principles can be applied in all learning contexts. However, it requires willingness, and we must ensure that everyone is treated equally. In addition, we need to be adaptable to learners’ different experiences

  • If you have tried implementing these principles, have you encountered any problems making them work in practice? How did you address these issues?

Yes, I faced several challenges when applying these principles, such as language barriers, different levels of participation, and students feeling shy to speak. Some students were very active, while others remained quiet. To address these issues, I used group work, encouraged presentations, and created an inclusive learning environment so that every student had the opportunity to participate. I also used affordable materials, such as drawing and creating their own resources instead of using ready-made ones, so that all students could be involved.
