Could you share any examples of how you try to embed principles you value in your teaching? Share your approach in the comments by describing an activity you use with students, and explain which principles you are putting into action.

In my teaching, I try to embed the principles I value by helping students bring out their potential and apply what they learn in real life. For example, in our school, we teach how to calculate percentage, interest rates, demand and supply, and profit. To help students understand these concepts in practice, we organize a school shop and an art exhibition where students sell items and raise funds for the school.

Through these activities, students learn how to calculate costs, set prices, calculate profit, and manage money. We also appoint a student treasurer to look after the funds and create rules and regulations for how the money should be used and circulated. This activity helps students develop responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and financial literacy.
