This week I tried applying course ideas during teacher training by looking at learning from the students’ perspective. I focused on asking more questions, listening carefully, and encouraging open sharing. What worked well was that trainees felt more confident and engaged, and I also understood the lesson better through their responses. A challenge was that some participants were shy to speak, but I was surprised that once they tried, it became easier and more comfortable. Overall, I learned that creating space for questions and respectful listening helps build confidence and makes the training environment more supportive.
