After learning about Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), I realized that it plays a vital role in education, especially in conflict and crisis areas. Even students in peaceful areas may face pressure or mental challenges, so it is clear that students in conflict zones will experience even more emotional and mental problems. Learning SEL helps teachers support these students more effectively. Having counseling sessions in schools also helps students improve their mental health, academic performance, and behavior. In addition, understanding the principles of a good learning environment can raise classroom standards and create a more positive and supportive space for learning.
