Share your reflection

Please share your own reflections on the week, or overall across the course, and comment on the posts from others.

Please post any general questions you have for the educators here, and ‘like’ any others that you would like to see answered. Then we can prioritise how we address them.

My reflection for overall course is as below. I would say that I have learned so many different and helpful theories form this training. So, I would like to mention only a few main ideas that I have learned form several different wweeks.

To begin with the first week, I would say that I remembered what I have learned about the conversational framework. However, after the discussion section, I felt a huge difference of understanding about the conversational framework such as it focuses on the teacher, learner, and peer, and the main idea is that the relationship between concept, practice, and then product as a result or outcome.

From the second week lessons, there are two main lessons that I ahve learned. The first one is about the different perspection of Education, also known as the VPLP Education. And the second one is about the Ecological System Theory of Bronfenbrenner. The second theory is a very interesting one because it shows the layers of the direct and indirect environment that affect the productivity, activeness, and developent of an individual student. As a teacher, this theory really helps us understand how to solve a problem, and make sure that we are making the best decisioin for the students without making quick and false decision for our students, as their future also depend on our hands.

As for the last or the third week, I have learned about the impact the  counselling section in teaching environment. And each sections I have learned and discussed about the counselling section did help me get differnet idea about my perspective on counselling.

Overall, all of these lessons are priceless, and they will be truly helpful for the future teachers in the future.
