Citizen science initiatives frequently evolve as new opportunities, partnerships, or locations emerge. Yet projects often face an important question: which elements should remain consistent, and which can adapt?

Imagine your initiative was replicated in another setting or expanded to engage new communities. Reflect on the aspects of your project that feel fundamental to its identity, such as values, governance principles, ethical commitments, or participation approaches. Then consider which elements might reasonably evolve to suit different contexts, communities, or practical realities.
