Citizen science initiatives are often sustained through enthusiasm, participation, and strong relationships. Yet administrative systems also play an important role in long-term resilience. As projects grow or diversify, coordination demands may increase, including volunteer management, documentation, reporting, communication, scheduling, partnership management, budgeting, and data stewardship.
