Be Approachable + Find People in Common Classes

Be Approachable: It's far easier to approach someone who looks like they want to talk to you. Barriers such as wearing earphones and negative body-language might put people off. People in Common Classes: Make friends with someone with whom you have one or more classes with. You can ask them for help on assignments and partner up on projects. You can have study sessions with them.
