Pick an optimal study time: When is your focus and concentration at its best? When are you feeling awake & alert? Are you an early bird, night owl, or afternoon person? Study when you're awake, focused, and feeling good! Create a study timeline: Have a test next week? Study in small increments early on so that you're not cramming and improve your learning and retention! Create a spreadsheet or list of topics you need to review, detail you study method, length of time that will be spent on topic, and the day you will do it. Study space: Find a place with no distractions (TV, family, bed) that has good lighting and necessary supplies. Sit at a proper table and chair set up. Have a water bottle nearby.
