The Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurements (FAAM) is an aircraft operated jointly by the UK Met Office and the UK National and Environmental Research Council. Onboard instruments include systems for recording of pressure, temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, atmospheric pollutants and the liquid water content of clouds. It is involved in a wide range of research activities relating to atmospheric measurements and monitoring.
