2.1 Plastic and the circular economy

There’s no doubt plastic is vital to our everyday lives. But if thrown away, many plastics take hundreds of years to break down.. One positive aspect of moving towards a circular approach would means less waste plastic would end up in landfill or our environment.

In fact it is the unique properties of plastic itself that helps us keep it in use as long as possible. This is discussed in the following video.
