Art for Action: A Guide
Art for Action is an exciting project to bring together communities to debate and take action together on the climate change. Stimulated by artworks created by young people, the project aims to bring their key concerns and issues directly to local adults, businesses, industries and policymakers through a physical exhibition of their work. The project also involves a virtual exhibition to share the artworks across participating countries. The artworks created will be a form of 'Artivism', a bringing together of art with activism, with the express intention to provoke and stimulate action.
This guide has been written by Dr Carolyn Cooke with colleagues from The Open University, University of Ibadan, Highland One World and The YMCA African Alliance.
