Day 1 OER photo Global community

I am intrigued by the universality of OERs. It helps me feel not as alone and isolated in my daily existence in the classroom.

My biggest challenge is the technology (that is constantly changing) and weeding through the web for quality relevant material and how to manage all the web sites and content. I am getting technology exhausted and overwhelmed with note books full of potential resources and post it notes of sites to look at.

Hi Rob, links are good references for purposes of this informal course. Have you ever considered organization your browser bookmarks in a way that's more helpful? I don't really do it, but read this good blog post by our good friend Helen DeWaard recently and it has me thinking about how to better organize my thought process around resources I want to bookmark and return to for future reference.

Good point - weeding is so time consuming. In fact, that is why sometimes it is easier to make something myself.
