Aloha everyone!

I'm an instructional designer on the Island of Hawaii (yes, where we're dealing with the active volcano eruption). We're looking to reduce textbook costs for our students and are starting an professional development program around OER. One of the videos I've found very effective with our faculty (short, informative, and easy to digest) is "Why Open Education Matters."

Although I've taken 1-2 other training on OER and have done my own research and self-study, I still view myself as a novice and am looking to learn more. I'm also interested in learning more about adapting OER (popular platforms, file formats, etc.).
