I selected the image below by Paul Stacy because I captures what I think is the most important part of Open to me: the vast spectrum of area impacts by open practices that make knowledge accessible to all. It includes open science, open data, open technologies, etc. Even within the OER it's not just about open textbooks. And for me, Open texts are the least interesting aspect of Open. There is so much more about open pedagogy and students as producers of open education that intrigues me.
What I want to learn more about: I want to learn more about how to adapt & remix resources and CC licensing. For example, for the image I chose, it's from Paul Stacy so I assume CC by Paul Stacy. But I see he has used icons from the Noun Project and listed the CC licensing. I am not sure how to correctly attribute this work. It's these kinds of questions that limit my use of Open since I am not quite sure how to use.
Looking forward to participating in the course!
