About building community of practice

I'm very fresh to Canadian higher education sector and have been trying hard to fit in.

I find participating reading groups is a fantastic starting point for building a CoP.

Online communities and discussions are certainly helpful and full of wonderful resources that we can all learn from, but being able to connect/discuss in-person means so much more. I've learned so many valuable lessons from people in the reading group last semester and can't wait for the next one to start.
