Hi everyone,

I'm a bit late to the game as I was out of the country but I'm looking forward to learning more about OER from my peers within this MOOC. Personally, I struggle with integrating OER as I do not teach on a regular basis, and when I do, the textbooks are prescribed because they are based on technical certification programs. The content that needs to be taught can be rather rigid in nature. My goal for this MOOC is to learn as much as I can about OER and use my position as an Instructional Design Technologist within our Centre for Teaching and Learning to share and spread the word to those faculty who may want to implement and integrate OER into their teaching practice with hopes of building a culture of sharing at our institution. Looking forward to getting to know everyone over the next couple of weeks!
