Overlap

I think if we ask the average student about these concepts we see that are described for one another where there is an overlap. This is due to that fact the development and maturity of one has led to the development of another. E.g., the case of E-learning and Distance Education or Open learning. The idea behind all three I believe is the same, to provide an opportunity to learn via different means or institutional structures.
