reflection

Currently on reviewing the NICE guidelines, our organisation works closely guidance which has been set out and feel they outcomes are very actuate for support MND patients in the community.
We have previously had discussions about how our MND patients needs to be supported by palliative care but has not been specified by whether needs to be a hospice or acute support from with in hospital. We have found that we are getting a lot more MND patients who being referred to a hospice and they may have symptomatic from symptoms i.e. breathlessness, hypersalivation or equipment support from our therapies team.
We work with trying to implement the NICE Guidelines into my daily working life to support MND patient in the community.
