As this course is all about sharing and learning from one another, it is really important that you fully participate on discussion boards to get the full learning benefits. On previous courses, students have been incredibly frustrated that nobody responded to (or maybe even read) a piece of work they spent a lot of time and thought on.

So you will find that most of the discussion boards won’t display a ‘completed’ tick unless you post something and reply to another student’s post during the course (you don’t have to respond immediately).

Obviously, you can complete the whole course without contributing but we have made the decision to restrict a successful completion to those who have fully engaged with their peers. Most of you are doing this brilliantly anyway! Thanks for your understanding- there will be the opportunity for you to give us your views on this approach in Week 6.
