Thoughts from a Dietitian

Examples of information from other members of the MDT that help me carry out my role with a particular patient (as a Dietitian):

1. Speech Pathologist: What texture modification of food and fluids do they require?

2. GP: Have aperients or prokinetics been discussed to assist with constipation/feelings of fullness?

3. Physio/OT: how can we make positioning in bed more suitable and comfortable for the patient whilst receiving their PEG feeds to reduce aspiration risk?

4. In-home nurse: Does the patient have adequate supply of their PEG formula and consumable? Who places these orders if the patient does not have the capacity to?
