Physiotherapist

  • As a a physio who has worked in the hospital, hospice, and community sectors it is very interesting to reflect on patients' experience across all 3, but also between all 3. We often find ourselves in our own areas with reduced consideration for those for example outside the hospital, and should strive to create joined-up care at its truest. Having a main port of call is ideal for patients, and ensuring we are not confusing patients by providing too many people or too many people coming in/out makes it hard for patients to know who to contact, and who is available to speak to again is key
