Reflection

Interesting to read these case studies of 3 very different experiences from those with MND. I don't find it surprising that 2/3 cases are limited by engagement, as this is such a difficult condition to receive a diagnosis of. So many find that denial is the best coping strategy, and this is where I find I can be a helpful asset as a physio as can sometimes 'sneak' in to getting to know a patient through other ailments, although I was surprised to hear about case study 2 and his reaction towards the MSK physio missing his diagnosis. I would be keen to hear other people's experiences, as to whether they have anything similar.
