Realia and authenticity

Most language course text books include created artefacts such as menus. GLAM collections make it easier to replace these with more authentic "realia". Here's an example I used recently with my French beginners for a speaking activity. What is fascinating when we use real examples is that you see how much food language in such examples is not wholly in French but rather influenced by food trends at the time.
