I registered and completed the questionnaire, here are my results:
These were not surprising given my commitment to OEP but they were based just on my answers to the questions. I was surprised though to still get a list of recommendations which I was eager to investigate. Many were already links and suggestions I have engaged with (including finding out about open badges - I have been using these for some time). I did try to use the Finding and Using Open resources game but unfortunately it uses Flash and I don't! Also I think than given the pace of change and the abundance of useful resources for developing open teaching it may be better to curate a hashtag which can provide a direct connection to a Community of practice rather than links which will inevitably need updating regularly.
Whilst I was working through today's activity the unit leader Maureen got in touch with me directly on my twitter channel - this is one of the best and most powerful examples of modelling open practice to me. I found a new contact who was ready to connect in real time just when her work was in my mind, a great example of the power of open practice to sustain and grow a community.
