where I'm at with OER

I am finding myself falling behind a little bit in this MOOC, the content is so interesting and I don't want to miss anything, but it's time consuming and with everything else at end of term, I'm afraid it's taking a bit of a back-seat. However...I would like to say "adapt" is where I'm at, but I'm with most of you at the "adopt" stage. I think it's mostly due to time constraints. Having a textbook assigned to a course is the easy route, but like Steven i don't want the learners in classes to have to buy them, especially if they aren't going to read them. I'd be way happier, and I'm sure they would be too, if I could provide links to relevant sources that they will read at no cost.

I do use images a fair amount, but mostly because they are great in comparison to anything i could create, so adaptation wouldn't make sense :). I also liked the verb options from the Bloom's Taxonomy although I am hearing some fun things about using the Medicine Wheel as an alternative to Bloom's if you're interested in providing higher education from an Indigenous way of knowing.
