Hi folks,
Here is my prototype of a unit on Academic Integrity using various OER sources. Your feedback and comments are welcome. Specifically, I am looking for advice on whether the sources I have choosen can be combined in terms of licensiing and whether there is content about Academic Integrity that I am missing.

Thanks in advance, Irene
Hi Irene, I think it looks great. I would say that because the primary content is adapted from two sources that are CC BY NC SA, that would be a good license to use overall. The first image doesn't have the Unsplash citation, but I'm assuming it is. You can license your personal video any way you wish, but it would be good to assign it a license (assuming your institution allows you to license your own work). It would be good to ensure that your video and the YouTube video both had transcripts available in addition to the closed captioning they might have (I learned during this course that is an important benefit for some learners). The transcripts could go at the end perhaps.
I'd say it's pretty complete. There might be some information in there that often violations of academic integrity are unintentional, especially when it comes to paraphrasing, using references and resources, and proper citation. There are also cultural differences about sharing work and plagiarism, and it is very important for out-of-province learners to read academic integrity policies very carefully. There are many ways to help your friends study, write, and prepare for courses without violating college or university policies.
Thank you for sharing Irene, it's a good example to discuss.
