Sharing the Experience

I would have never thought to encourage and allow students to help carry some of the weight when it comes to helping build and manage one of my courses. What a brilliant idea. I always speak with them about giving children choices to help encourage ownership and pride, but never thought to give it to my students at the same time.

Here are a few ideas I would like to inject into one of my courses in the fall:

Adapting or remixing ideas from students

Encouraging students to apply their expertise

Helping curate some of the course content

Thanks for sharing the knowledge!

Hi Kelli,

Here's one of my students talking about her experience of creating and sharing tips for French language learning when she was in my beginner's class. It was something very new to her but clearly something she enjoyed. I hope this helps encourage you to move the idea forward in your work.
