Is there any best practice for collaboration among college faculty?

I have been teaching in business programs in our local college and university for more than 10 years. I know I am a very open minded and inclusive person. I have been taught more than 20 different business/commerce courses in the institutions. What I found there is lots of barriers for the business team's collaboration in teaching. I hope in the future I can get more creative ideas for how the different discipline instructors can collaborate in OER or OEP.
