Hi, it has been an enjoyable course, I didn't keep up with the pace with live session, because I was assigned an assignment in place where there was limited connectivity. None the less, I was grateful and extremely please to see that you allowed people to continue till end of June. I have enjoyed the course, and evident by the fact that 'beat' the end of June date.
Now, I intend to launch an OER movement in my University( Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology). I will start with the health related courses- I belong there- and hence I have some sphere of influence. I will involve students too. Personally I have taught a whole physiology module using a MOOC, and I think I have an open text book from open stax that handle psychology, complete with videos. Statistics is a subject I like and I will likely have greater success here, because most teachers don't teach this subject well. I have a number of resources that are interactive..
I intend to publish this work, and hence the secondary motivation, I will try and get some funds- if I don't I can sponsor in my small ways. I my wordpress paid up, I will be having a customised email this month. Using WhatsApp, I shall be able to create a big awareness. I have done some work for John Hopkins using WhatsApp as facilitating tool on reproductive health. In Kenya it is extremely popular we use it as an 'LMS'.. Here is my word press-https://wordpress.com/view/elearningandmobilelearning.net.
Pardon the typo and grammar I am typing from a railway station- not very comfortable- but trust I communicate- my tweeter @nboruett, skype same.
