Reflect on your beliefs and understanding of what constitutes person-centred practice in MDT working:
Person centred care means that patients can impact their care with their own views and beliefs. They work collaboratively with the medical and therapy teams to achieve a common goal and improve quality of life for patients.
Sarah you are so right, it can be the little things sometimes like taking time to really make sure the sheets are adjusted just as they like it ,, it doesnt always have to be about the big decisions
I also like how you comment on photos learn about their past. this is something I often do as well. i helps build rapport but also helps us understand them as individuals before they became a patient.
thank you for sharing these
I agree with you because person Centered care is about putting the individual at the centre of their care and treating them as individual.
Everyone has a specific way or manner they want their things to be done or be. So, in caring we have to make sure that they are attended to in the way they like and also giving them free will to make their own choice and descide how they want to be attended to and also with respect and dignity.
